Toddler vs. Little Boy

Little Lion has been out of the “toddler” sized clothing for quite some time now. However, I’ve still considered him a toddler . . . I’m not sure why. That all changed today! When he came home from BSF with Lolly I noticed something about his pants.
Yep, it was a hole. Mind you it’s just a tiny thing right now. But soon it will be so big the pants will be deemed shorts!
I can remember my friend and mommy mentor, Jennifer M, telling me someday Little Lion will have holes in his pant legs and creepy crawly things in his pockets. I guess I expected it sooner than now and since it hadn’t come it was not ever going to. (I still don’t think we’ll enter the creepy crawly world with him.)
Today we entered little boyhood! Good bye toddler world. Watch out teen years!

    This little lion will someday be a daddy lion and you will wonder where the years went and cherish this picture as a memory of his boyhood. BUT he will always be YOUR LITTLE LION. Grandma M (I decided maybe you would rather I not be grandma lion.)
