Par for the course

Well the last two days have been beautiful. The next two should be miserable.
We went out of town yesterday to see some beloved friends that are on furlough from their missions work in Ecuador. It was bitter sweet, wonderful to see them, but so hard to not want to be back in Ecuador! Afterwards, we enjoyed the outdoor shopping strip and the goregous weather. Today we played outside after our MOPS meeting, getting energy out and enjoying the weather since tomorrow it's suppose to be rainy and 50's! MAKE UP YOUR MIND! Well, I won't complain. I could be in blizzard conditions with no end in sight. Thank you Jesus for my sporatic weather!
Besides the weather, the kids actually played well together outside! Little Lion did ride his bike again today; even down around the cul-de-sac. He does very well, just needs the confidence in himself. However, his favorite thing by far is the big purple ball. Throwing, kicking, rolling on it . . .
just the best ball ever!
Little Pumpkin is still working on a tooth or two. So her moments of fun and stubborn are interspersed! No she's not the next Michael Jordan . . . she just licked the ball! YUCK!!!
All this to say it was a good day. Little Lion pushed Little Pumpkin in her cozy coupe and they even shared the big purple ball. Maybe they are learning somethings after all! ;o)
