Girls Day

Today was Mommy and Little Pumpkin day! Little Lion goes to BSF with Lolly (my mom) on Wednesdays. Today was special because he got to go home with a friend afterward. So, that meant a girls day at home.
Little Pumpkin is too young for any girly things, but we enjoyed each other. She even "helped" clean house since our friends came over for dinner.
I have found myself wrapped up in schedules and the to do list lately. I'm still learning that sometimes those just need to be ignored and the moment enjoyed. This is big for my type A, rule following self!
My prayer is that I find that critical balance of "work" and fun as these days will not last forever. Okay Steven Curtis Chapman's song "Cinderella" is playing now!
God really knows how to drive a point home! ;o)
