A little too much Lightening

So we are very excited about a trip to Oregon in August; our niece is getting married! Sheena has asked that Little Lion walk a few little girls down the aisle in the wedding. The official request came last night about bedtime. While Daddy Lion brushed teeth, I began the explanation. (We first have to remind him who Sheena is given that it’s been over a year since we’ve seen her last.)

Mommy Lion: Hey Little Lion, you remember your cousins? (He loves talking about the cousins ~ mostly the boys though)
Little Lion: Yes! Wesley, Dalton and Curtis
ML: Do you remember Sheena? She’s the one with the dog who went sledding with us when we went to the snow.
LL: Yes.
ML: She’s getting married and wants you to be in the wedding.
LL: (wheels turning, trying to figure out why she wants to marry him)
ML: Do you think you could walk down the aisle with a few little girls?
Daddy Lion: Depends on how trashy they are. (at which time Mommy Lion smacks daddy!)
LL: Well, yeah, pends on trash girls, but I think I can tell them “CA-CHOW!”

Okay if you are the least bit familiar with the Disney movie Cars you can totally picture the scene at the beginning. Lightening McQueen is flying through the air during the race with his tongue hanging out and he flashes this look at the twin girls that are his biggest fans. I totally saw that look on Little Lion’s face and that thought going through his little head!
I pray he forgets what his daddy said soon! And we’ll continue the Cars ban for a few more weeks!
