Girl time!

After church we headed to Lolly and Pop's house for lunch. Some nice warm homemade chili, perfect after a cold morning. Little Pumpkin and Pop napped while the rest of us played a vibrant game of CLUE! Love that game . . . Well, with they guys gone (Little Lion to nap, Daddy Lion to play on the computer), it was girl time.

Lolly bought these fun nail tools for stamping on your nails. If you know Lolly you know she loves painted nails! In the middle of doing my nails, Little Pumpkin woke up . . .
I had my hands out flat letting them dry and the next thing I know Little Pumpkin is sitting beside me with her sweet little hand flat on the table, waiting her turn!

Love making these memories . . . I know Little Pumpkin will always remember Lolly painting her nails! That just warms my heart.

The finished products.

I just love this picture . . . She looks so innocent and sweet. Yet notice both Lolly and I having to hold her hand down to finish! *wink*

  1. Too cute! I am always amazed though that they can still still if they really want something. She will have lots of good memories with Lolly...something to be so thankful for.

  2. I love the nails! I bet I can guess which ones are yours--the red with swirls! Those would be the ones I would choose, too! :-)

What kind of kit did she find that stamps on your nails? That's too cool!

I LOVE that last picture of Little Pumpkin!!! So sweet.

  3. Love the memories. I have taught Lauren to do her own and she is very good.

  4. Looks like lots of fun. I always bring my nail stuff with me when we visit the cousins. Even as they get older we all enjoy doing our nails together.

  5. Hey Christy,
Cheryl told me about your blog and I just love reading about your adorable kids!! You have a perfect little family. Painting nails reminds me of the good times when Shalyn was little! Enjoy every minute of it, they grow up so quick.

  6. That looks like fun. I love going to our Asian owned nail places and having them give me a mani/pedi and massage! So relaxing. Lolly is an artist - such a nice finished product. I'm suprised pumpkin could sit still for all that!
