So, yesterday I said hello to a third decade, today my mom said hello to a fifth!
Wednesday we began planning and pulled together a surprise b-day lunch for her. They always eat at the same place on Saturday. So getting her there was easy . . . we just had to get everyone else there before her! Afterwards, we all headed back to their house for cake and ice cream!

Love that you both celebrate a new 'decade' the same year. That is great that you could pull together a party for her!
