After the yummy lunch (see previous post), we headed over to Daddy Lion's co-worker's house. Mr. H and his wife have 5 horses (she's a horse doc). Little Lion was so excited to get to ride a horse again. It's been about 2 years since he's gotten to ride.
It was bare back and I'm not sure Little Lion was as confident as he would have been on a saddle, but he did a great job!
Kit was a pretty mare who really enjoyed her treat! She is the epitome of "will work for food!" (Little Pumpkin being a close second *wink*)
I was so proud of Little Lion being brave and letting Kit eat from his hand . . . that's a huge thing!We weren't out there long ~ it was hot! Little Lion was wanting to ride more, so hopefully we will get to go back again soon.
Little Pumpkin on the other hand loves her horses at a 50 yard distance! (That really goes for any animal!) She loves the books and videos, but when it comes to the real thing . . .

We loved riding horses at your house. It was a lot of fun! I am not sure how Kate will react to our little dog since you say she only likes animals from a distance. We'll see....
