You know I love my little girl. You know if she asked for the moon I'd 'throw a lasso around it and pull it down'. Those eyes, she needs me for so many things. She's asks so sweetly for help when she can't get what she needs. Tonight was no different.
Before the full motherly attack begins, please note that Mommy Lion was fully involved too!
Little Pumpkin found the plastic lime and wanted a drink, so I obliged. The first time I didn't have the camera ready so this one was a bit staged. Not that you can stage this kind of a thing.
Tomorrow night, we move on to the plastic lemon.

OK I am laughing out loud!!!!!!!!! My poor sweet girl!!! Hey I need to win something!! I am #1230 that is as close to a "cool" number as I can get!
ReplyDeleteYOU GUYS ARE BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Little Pumpkin you just come see Aunt Mer and I'll give some of the sweet stuff ! I expect this from Daddy Lion, but Momma Lion...I'm just baffled. Actually, you know I think it's hysterical. Thanks for the laugh!
ReplyDeleteLittle Pumpkin's face was hilarious! I remember giving Russ a lemon at a restaurant and he made the most unusual "bitter beer face" ever! Remember that commercial with the old man or something like that. Anyway, that's the face, with the puckered up lips and all, that Russ made. Little Pumpkin and Little Lion both made good "bitter beer" faces, too. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, Well, Well -----my son is willing to become a cowboy - after all these years. I guess it took a darling little daughter to melt his heart enough to surrender!!!
ReplyDeleteThis will go on record that my son is now a cowboy and he hasn't bought his boots and hat yet!
Also let it go on record that his mom didn't teach him his ways.
Grandma Lion
Woah.... little doggie. George Bailey was no cowboy when he offered to lasso the moon for Mary! Just because he sang "Buffalo Girl Won't You Come Out Tonight" does mean he's got the boots to go scootin' ??
ReplyDeleteFor the record, no boots, no hat, no y'all, just a ruggedly handsome daddy and his little pumpkin.
