What a packed full weekend! It all began Thursday eve. when my step-sister and her husband came into town with their new baby ~ Claire Louise. (I'll say she was named after me, but there are some other women in Lauren's life that share the name!)

Friday night: NEWSBOYS!!! Need I say more? While we were "dating" Daddy Lion and I were able to attend two different NEWSBOYS concerts, so this was a little stroll down memory lane . . . We realized we are much older than we were! But we still enjoyed ourselves.

Saturday was more of Baby Claire and a fun couples night with my MOPS table. Nothing like a good game of "Battle of the Sexes" to give everyone a good laugh. We tied by the way.
Sunday we headed over to my mom's again for lunch and just family time. Little Pumpkin has become obsessed with her nails . . . Lolly's favorite pastime. I don't think Lolly emptied her hands completely when she walked in the door before Little Pumpkin had her in the bathroom picking out polish. This pic is blurry, but I loved it!

I too agree with Cheryl, that picture of the two kissing baby is just precious. Your mom did a lovely job on the dresses. Glad you got to see Peter Furler, sounds like DC Talk Michael Tait is going to take over. That should be a fun concert. Wish I could have fun with you!

ReplyDeleteThat last picture is darling. What a gifted seamstress! Dan and I went to a Casting Crowns concert in Anchorage last fall and decided we were too old to appreciate the volume at rock concerts ... even awesome spiritual ones. Are we lame or what?! I went home after that and took a Tylenol PM to get to sleep! :) Glad you guys got to go down memory lane together. Dating your spouse is so important! Not to mention, FUN.
